Videofied includes battery powered AES encrypted communicator hub that manages up to 24 remote battery powered sensor/cameras with illuminated night vision. System operates up to 2 years on one set of batteries from -20F to +140F. When the Infrared Motion Sensor detects intrusion, the integrated camera captures a 10 second video of the incident and transmits it to the hub over 915 MHz spread spectrum RF. The hub transmits the alarm/video over the cell network to a command post that coordinates response. The system is designed to detect/notify, acting as cost effective “remote sentries” to support and enhance sophisticated megapixel PTZ surveillance cameras. Entirely wireless, the weatherproof sensor/cameras are the size of a coffee cup and can be deployed and moved as the situation demands. The Videofied system is COTS and has been used extensively to secure remote assets against copper theft including electrical substations, oil pipelines and pumping stations, remote cell towers and radar installations, construction sites and vacant property. The Videofied system is securing the rooftops of commercial property in Minnesota winters and FAA radar towers in the Nevada desert.
